The 2025 Ford Mustang offers a trio of powerful engine options. The base EcoBoost models are powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine that delivers 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The more powerful GT trims feature a robust 5.0-liter V-8 engine, producing 480 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. The Dark Horse coupe is powered by a modified Gen-4 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine that generates 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque.
