Introducing the 2025 Ford Maverick: Compact Truck Revolution
Powerful Engines
The Maverick comes with two powerful engine options. The standard engine is a 2.5L hybrid, and it’s an excellent option if you want the capability of a truck without sacrificing fuel economy. It pairs with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to deliver 42 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. If power and capability are your main concerns, the available 2.0L EcoBoost is the engine for you. It produces 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque.
The Maverick has a standard towing capacity of 2,000 pounds and a maximum payload of 1,500 pounds. With all-wheel drive and the available 4K Tow Package, the towing capacity is increased to 4,000 pounds.
Stylish and Functional Exterior
The Maverick makes a strong first impression. Its bold grille, upright stance, and clean body lines give it the rugged look of a much larger truck, and its compact size makes it easy to maneuver in traffic. It has modern LED reflector headlights and 17-inch Sparkle Silver wheels. For a sportier edge, you can add the Black Appearance Package, which includes black features such as its roof, mirrors, decals, and 19-inch wheels.
Its bed is designed for function. It features the innovative FLEXBED Storage System, which offers built-in slots, tie-downs, and available accessories. Whether you’re hauling lumber, camping gear, or bicycles, the Maverick’s bed can be customized to suit your needs.
Versatile and Spacious Interior
The Maverick seats five over two comfortable rows, and it offers ample legroom in both. It offers keyless entry for your convenience. Higher trims have available upgrades such as a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, remote start, and power moonroof.
There is clever storage space throughout the cabin so you can keep your valuables close by. For example, the front seats have deep door pockets that are large enough to hold water bottles, and there is a storage compartment under the rear seats.
Modern Technology and Safety
The Maverick features the advanced SYNC 4 infotainment system, which includes a 13.2-inch center touchscreen with swipe capability and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. FordPass Connect with Wi-Fi hotspot capability comes standard, so you can stay connected no matter how far you roam. An AM/FM stereo with six speakers keeps you entertained, but the Maverick also supports Bluetooth audio streaming to expand your music choices
The Maverick comes with driver-assistance features including a rearview camera, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and automatic high beams.
